Our Transitions Consulting Program is designed to help seniors and their families “right-size” in their current home or “down-size” for a move to a new home. Senior Move Advisor Jana Granzella heads up this service, and she is available for a free consultation.
Transitions Consulting services are client-focused. We know how to help families save time and money. In our experience, we can usually accomplish quite a lot in a short time. Here’s how we work with clients:
Transitions Consulting also can arrange for the dispersal of household belongings after the death of a loved one. A death in the family introduces a whole new set of responsibilities. Whether you just need to remove personal belongings, or a complete clearing out of an established home site, let us help. Family members’ work, other responsibilities, or travel distance can make these tasks even more overwhelming. Fortunately, help is just a phone call away.
Armistead has designed Transitions Consulting to help make big tasks manageable and timely. Working under the direction of family members, attorneys or trust officers, theTransitions team organizes and distributes the estate accordingly. We can do it all, from simple sorting to arrangements for cleaning, repair work, real estate services, etc. As a result, you have less pressure during trying times.
Pre-Planning: In addition, Transitions Consulting offers individuals and families pre-planning, providing direction for future dispersal of personal and household belongings.
Transitions Consulting is here to step in and accomplish moving tasks that seniors and their family members can’t or don’t want to do. We can do as little as one consulting session for those who want to go off and DIY these projects. Or, let us manage and complete each step of a move from start to finish. Each client is different with special needs.
We charge an hourly rate for these services, along with a pricing scale based on level of service. In many cases, clients pay for this service out of the proceeds from selling unwanted household items.
